Bobby Baker’s Diary Drawings in Attenborough Arts Centre, Leicester

This autumn Bobby Baker’s small scale exhibition Diary Drawings: Mental Illness and Me 1997 – 2008 will feature as part of the Art, Life, Activism exhibition in the Attenborough Arts Centre in Leicester.  Art, Life Activism draws on our own history as a centre for inclusive art practice, bringing a thought-provoking look at art and disability. Bobby’s Diary Drawings will feature alongside the work of Tony Heaton, Noëmi Lakmaier, Aaron Williamson, Simon Raven, David Hevey, Adam Reynolds and Liz Crow. Using performance, drawing and film to address issues around political activism, economic participation, medical treatment, public access and hidden history.
